The equipment used in the MossGo Roof Treatment System

The Equipment

Roof cleaning involves some basic equipment. Roofing contractors using scaffold access may perform the task with conventional tool: Scrapers and brushes for the preparation, and a garden back pack for the spraying.

TVSP Ltd has developed specialised equipment for productivity.

The MossGo Spray Station: A petrol driven unit performing on demand chemical injection and pumping the mix with sufficient power to give a good flow and pressure for the task.

The Spray Station has a full set of features:

Flow and volume metering
Pressure monitoring
Adjustable mix ratio
Adjustable pressure
Mix only, on mains pressure
Pump only, without chemical injection up to 12 l/mn, 15 bars

The MossGo Spray Box: An electric unit, using a 240 volts pump. The chemical injector is the same as the Spray station, allowing accurate injection ratio settings.

The Spray Box will work without power, on the mains pressure, with a pressure loss of ½ bar.

The MossGo Spray Bar: The chemical injection units are also used for spraying sports surfaces and ground level amenity.

The Spray Bar is designed with productivity in mind. The spray plume is confined, allowing work on windy days.

The MossGo Injection Box is a version of the MossGo Spray Box without a pump. Mains pressure is sufficient to obtain a satisfactory spray.

It is also connected upstream from pressure washers when used. The powered Spray Box is also sometimes used this way, with the motor switched off.

The MossGo Black Boom is used primarily for the treatment of roofs and tall facades. Folded, the boom is 1.2 metre long and weights only 1.6 kg. Extended, it measures 9 metres, and can project the dilute another 4 metres using a special narrow fan nozzle.
